A human picked me up and took me to an even scarier place called a shelter. I was terrified and shied away from all the people there. And thats why I was to be euthanized. On my last day, the last hour, a human from AllBorderCollieRescue came and took me away from that dreadful place. I was so happy! I even came out of my shell and licked this strangers hand. I now live with a foster family. And its a big one for a shy girl like me! I have 4 foster siblings (1 female and 3 male dogs) and one cat. I get along with all of them including the cat, but I really like my female foster sibling and foster mom the best. It took a couple of weeks for me to warm up to them. I know now I can trust them. I am very laid back. I prefer the quiet indoors. I absolutely love it when my foster mom scratches behind my ears and rubs my thick fur all over from head to tail! It makes me wiggle all over. She says Im a very fuzzy dog, and I feel like a big teddy bear. Im not really interested in toys, I simply like to just hang out or even sleep on the big human bed! My favorite thing is getting TREATS! I love treats and yummy food. I get so excited, I stand on my hind legs begging for it. I would love to have a forever home. I would do best in a less active household (children 5 yrs or older). It may take me a bit of time to warm up to you to build up trust. But once I do, you will find me at your side, licking your hand, my way of saying, I love you. I am housebroken, have been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
